Crown Rebuilt, Not Patched: A cracked crown lets water into the top of the stack. We form and pour a proper sloped crown with a drip edge.
Flashing Cut Into The Mortar: Counterflashing belongs in a cut mortar joint, not caulked to the face of the brick where it peels off in two winters.
Repointing And Rebuilds: Spalling brick and washed-out joints ground out and repointed, or the stack rebuilt from the roofline up.
