An underground drainage system protects your foundation, eliminates basement moisture, and keeps your yard dry — permanently.

Water pooling in your yard, flooding your basement, or eroding your foundation? We engineer permanent underground drainage solutions that move water away from your home for good. Buried downspouts, French drains, catch basins & complete drainage systems.
Fast response throughout Greater Northeast Ohio

Your gutters collect thousands of gallons of water every year — but if your downspouts dump it right next to your foundation, you have a serious problem. That water saturates the clay-heavy soil around your home, builds hydrostatic pressure against your foundation walls, and forces its way into your basement through cracks, joints, and pores. It erodes soil, undermines footings, and causes the foundation settling and cracking that costs tens of thousands to repair.
Underground drainage systems solve this permanently. Buried downspout lines carry water through smooth-wall PVC pipe to discharge points 10–20+ feet from your home. French drains intercept groundwater before it reaches your foundation. Catch basins collect standing water from low spots in your yard.
Every rain event that sends water toward your foundation compounds the damage — fix it permanently before it becomes a catastrophic repair
When water has nowhere to go, it goes into your basement. Clay soil holds water against your foundation like a bathtub. Hydrostatic pressure forces it through every crack, cold joint, and porous spot. A properly engineered drainage system intercepts this water before it ever reaches your walls.
Concentrated water at your foundation erodes soil, undermines footings, and causes differential settling. This shows up as stair-step cracks in brick, horizontal cracks in block walls, and doors and windows that suddenly won't close. Foundation repair costs $5,000–$25,000+. Underground drains cost a fraction of that.
Standing water kills grass, drowns plants, breeds mosquitoes, and makes your yard unusable after every rain. Poor grading sends water toward your home instead of away from it. Catch basins, channel drains, and underground piping solve these problems permanently.

Every property has different drainage challenges. We assess your specific water flow patterns, soil conditions, grading, and problem areas — then design a system using the right combination of solutions. No one-size-fits-all approaches.
Professional, efficient, and built to last — most installations completed in one day
We walk your property, identify every water flow path, measure grades, locate problem areas, and map the drainage challenges. We assess soil conditions, downspout locations, and discharge options to design the right system.
We engineer a custom drainage plan — pipe routes, slopes, collection points, and discharge locations. You get a clear proposal showing exactly what we'll install, where it goes, and what it costs. No surprises.
Trenches cut with precision equipment. Smooth-wall PVC laid with proper slope. Catch basins, pop-up emitters, and dry wells installed at collection and discharge points. Cleanout access at every key junction.
Trenches backfilled and compacted properly. Grade restored to direct surface water away from your foundation. Disturbed lawn areas re-seeded or re-sodded. System flushed and verified from every entry to every discharge point.

Greater Northeast Ohio's trusted drainage and waterproofing professionals
We do gutters, downspouts, underground drains, French drains, and flood restoration. We see the full water path from roof to foundation — and we engineer solutions that address the complete picture, not just one piece.
We never install corrugated flex pipe. Every underground drain we install uses solid smooth-wall PVC with engineered slope, downspout screens, and cleanout access — systems that actually work for decades, not a few years.
No two properties drain the same way. We assess your specific grades, soil, and water flow patterns — then design and install a system that solves your exact problem, not a generic one-size-fits-all approach.
Everything you need to know about underground drain installation in Northeast Ohio
We install buried downspout drain lines with pop-up emitters, exterior French drains around foundations, interior French drains for basement waterproofing, yard catch basins and channel drains, dry wells for water dispersal, and complete drainage systems that combine multiple solutions. Every system is custom-designed for your property's specific water problems.
Buried downspout lines run $300–$800+ per downspout. Exterior French drains run $30–$60 per linear foot. Interior French drains with sump pump run $3,000–$8,000+. Yard catch basins run $500–$1,500 per basin. We provide detailed estimates before starting any work. Call (330) 222-6290.
A buried downspout is a solid PVC pipe that carries water from your gutter downspout underground to a discharge point away from your home. A French drain is a gravel-filled trench with perforated pipe that collects groundwater from saturated soil and redirects it away from your foundation. Different problems require different solutions — sometimes both.
Most underground drain lines are buried 12–18 inches deep. French drains along foundations are typically installed at footing depth, which can be 3–4+ feet deep. Every installation is engineered with proper slope for gravity drainage.
We use narrow trenching equipment to minimize disruption. We backfill properly, restore the grade, and re-seed or re-sod the affected area. Within a season your lawn looks normal again.
Properly installed underground drains rarely clog. We use smooth-wall PVC pipe, install downspout screens at every entry point, maintain proper slope throughout, and provide cleanout access points. We never use corrugated pipe for permanent installations.
